And now I am crying again. For joy. For exquisite beauty. For all it's worth, in my humble opinion, this is the best article ever written about Vs. System. I vow to top it someday. For now, my friends, you wear the crown: http://metagame.com/vs.aspx?tabid=46&ArticleId=7037
And I ask you, Realms, what is the best article you have ever read about our beloved game? You don't have to link it, although that would be cool too.
"Obviously, this would be the most consistent version of the deck; however, it suffers from the same debilitating flaw that plagues many creations of mine: it's only 43 cards. Much like the Britney Spears song of the same title, this deck is not a limited deck, not yet a constructed deck.
To anyone who expected the Britney Spears reference to take the form of “Oops, WE DID IT again,” my deepest apologies and sincerest dislike."
I cannot possibly express how much I look forward to AP's articles but this one is quite likely perfect. Close runner up (because of the bomb format it introduced):
well, i thought i was done writing my half of the Kree article, but i guess i have to go back and write like 10 more pages. jeez!
ok, this is hard for me to say so i'll just say it and get it over with: thank you...STU. :classic:
anyway, i agree with Adam, TA is probably the best. TW is a close second but, his match coverage is just about the only coverage i ever read. his mastery of the British language (that guy does not speak English, IMHO) is unparalled.
Adam is pretty awesome too. someone said this in another thread, but his last article was nothing short of brilliant. that rare strategy article that actually teaches you something. not me though, i already knew all that crap.
one last shout-out goes to Steve 'kamiza' Garrett. the way he relates playing Versus to martial arts...always an enjoyable read.
