Oh man, I can't wait until UDE releases the SRP of these things. I am so going to enjoy the crapstorm of whining and cursing. If some people were b*tch*ng about EoME, keep in mind Gallery Packs are a purely vanity product from the company that thought up "Ultimate Collection" and "Exquisite Collection." (Look it up.)
Yeah, it will be very interesting to see if the reprinting of the older cards will make them legal in Silver Age. Similar to the reprinting of Flying Kick in the F4 Starter allowing it to run around in Silver Age.

it all depends on whether or not UDE gives them a new set number or not.
if UDE does MGP and DGP (or whatever) then i am sure that they will attached to MHG and DCR/DLS (i dont remember if the Batman and F4 starters were released before or after Avengers, so i dont know what set UDE would attach the DC ones too). if UDE doesnt give them new set numbers, well, it should be fairly obvious as to the answer.
I would honestly believe they should have them available at Premiere Tournaments as like entrance prizes for a few events.
In addition to local stores of course.
I would go out on a limb and say that Gallery packs won't make the cards Modern/Silver legal ... if only because that kind of extra limitation on what they will reprint could prevent them from printing the 'most playable' cards and/or the ones people want the most.
I wouldn't be surprised if all of these were printed at the same time as the regular versions were. Meaning: They didn't just recently make EA prints of origin cards. They've had them stored away and slowly gave them out. Now, they could be cleaning house.
