Ah ah ah, read that text again---Spider-Man can't be controlled by both players at once. And just in case, here's Daily Bugle's current text from, as always, the OCR.

I still don't get how his first plan would work, seeing as he's evading his character, not his opponent. It does say character your opponent controls right?

Edit: Nevermind, I done figured it out, and now I feel like an idiot. He meant the opponent had a Spiderman as well, ok. And as the question has been answered I will sink into the floor with embarrassmant now. *is sinking*

no he was not aware of the errata...because spidey has evasion, he generated the effect that stunned himself which means he stunned himself...therefore if you name spiderman for daily bugle under its old text, a spider-friends character (spiderman) stunned a character named spiderman (by generating the effect that stuns him, evasion) allowing you to turn a card face down...but im sure you all knew this. it now has been changed and dialy bugle goes back into the depths of our commons...FOREVER! HAHAHAHAHA! jp its a really good card that i do not doubt will still enable a broken combo someday...

It still works the same way. Even if he named Spider-man and evaded himself, it says character an opponent controls, gets stunned by a character you control. It wouldn't have worked.
