Normally, when a series of negative events (low turn out for Sneak Previews, online stores liquating Vs cards, etc.) happens to VS, stubarnes posted a thread stating how great a game VS is, how it last forever, etc…

Surprisingly, I have not seem him post this yet (Where is stubarnes anyway?) So I will attempt to start such a thread. I will start general talking points and try to be humorous about it (no guarantees that I will succeed in being funny). Then, I will move onto some more serious good points.

Humorous good points VS (no guarantees that they will be funny)

- VS is the greatest game ever. period. no logic needed. none asked for.

- Any problems that might exist with VS, UDE has a totally secret plan to solve (however there are no problems).

- UDE has a 10 year non-guarantee plan for VS. The reason is for the non-guarantee part is UDE is so great in card games that no guarantee is needed.

- The magical powers of unicorns will prevent this game from dying.

Serious good points about VS

- I have liked every set that came out this year overall. The major teams for each set were good in my opinion. Some better than others, but all were good.

- The gallery packs are awesome. The first time I opened one, I felt that I have won a tournament. Good job, UDE. Please do this again.

- Sneak Previews are the best. Whether I go 4-0 or 0-4, I also have good time at Sneak Previews. Getting door prizes and seeing new cards always makes me glad that I went to a Sneak Preview

- The future Hellboy deck and Marvel and DC sets seem to have promise. From the few Hellboy cards I have seen, I can't want for Hellboy deck. UDE decision to revisit teams like Spider-Friends and Gotham Knights combined with the good sets they released this year seems to me a guarantee formula for success.

Now, I know everything in VS is not well. There were a few bad cards printed this year. Low attendance for Sneak Previews is never a good thing. Prize money and products being delivered very late is also never good. Online stores bailing out of VS shows signs of problems. European players getting screwed out of tournaments is just wrong.

But overall I think VS is a great game. For this thread at least, let us try to talk about just the positive things VS has done.

The word, every, in the title should be the word, ever. My bad.

I think VS is the greatest game ever because no matter what happens on these realms, be it the fighting about ude europe, if a set sucks or not, ect, we the players always find time to make and posts threads like these. To me a good player base and i dont mean number of players i mean truely good players are what make VS so sweet. Not to mention its always a plus when your VS card hero wins the latest PC then stops to talk to you after his victory.

I've been watching a number of threads like this and I feel that it's time to throw in my two cents. I do love this game, really I do. I came into this game as a huge comic book fan and gamer. I've been with the game from MOR and as long as there are people in my area that play then I will be playing this game for a long time to come.

Yes, I agree that this game has some problems, overseas op support for example. I'm too much of a realist to admit that this game is perfect and that there are no problems. However, I have faith in UDE and I wish for nothing else than the continued success of VS. I'm actually more excited than I thought I'd be concerning the upcoming release of Hellboy and I simply cannot wait for Marvel Team-Up and World's Finest.

So all in all, you've been doing very good things for us, UDE, and I hope you guys will continue to improve upon what needs to be improved and will continue giving us a game we enjoy playing.

I love Vs!

It is the best card game I've ever played. The level of strategy is amazing. Formations and the overall structure are just so awesome.

I also love the flavor of the game. This game lets me play with my favorite comic book characters and it feels right. Some of the cards have captured the characters so well. I also love the alternate foils and easter eggs in every set.

I also look forward to the future of VS. Things may not be perfect now, but the Hellboy EC, Marvel Team-up, and World's Finest are almost sure to bring plenty of awesomeness.

i love Vs. so much that i spent 50 bucks just to compete in a PCQ with a janky Negative Zone deck. that's love.

but i gotta say, the handful of times i got to do the "karnak finger point" on people was priceless.

A Negative Zone deck? Awesome. I love the Negative Zone team. If UDE ever prints a complete Negative Zone team and a Thanos team, then I will team them up, and call the deck, Annihilation Wave.

He still loves the game as much as he ever has, even more actually, but he is so sick of the haters that he started a reprogramming regimen that will allow him to stay the hell off of the message boards.

Stu, don't worry about the haters. They will burn themselves out. They always do. Take a look at any person you view as a hater. How many posts do they have at most? Probably only a few hundred at best and most of their post are worthless. Also, look at how long they stay around. At best, it is only for a few months.

Now, take a look at the positive people of Realms. How many posts do they have? Hundreds or thousands of positive and insightful views of VS. Look at how long they have stayed. Once they come to Realms, they usually stay and post here forever.

Sure the haters' post a lot in the beginning. But remember, they have to post quickly and plentifully before the fire of their hatred consumes them.

Let's start our own site! We'll call it "VSStuds.com"(studs = stu+DS)! It'll be the best site ever.
