So, like, when you are bored or frustrated or just need to feel that tickle in your gut that can only be found by focusing on comic book characters captured on cardboard...
What part of Vs. System's huge library of myths and mechanics always floats your boat?
Which characters dance in your head and make you chuckle every time?
What twists, greens, and toys never fail to give you visions of sugar plums?
Mine is not the Mulletman, to tell you the truth. I always get off on the little guys.
One-cost army characters spilling into six-pack formation. Wondering which is funnest... sacrificial minions, hot little hunks of random metal, temporary travelers through the Anti-Matter universe... the little guys always get me off.
i dont know about most players.... but I lost my grace when I passed 175#s.
But the kicker is I have some massive calves now and the ladies like me looking strong!!!
But as far as this post, I love anything that can negate an effect.
Fizzle, Conclave, etc.... waiting until the last minute to give that 4 knuckled finger to your opponent... no other play in the game feels better, at least in public.

I can hear your evil laugh from here... and I like it.
(This is gonna be one of those 34 rep-point parties, who else wants some?)
For me, it's Deadpool from MTU. I first-pack first-picked him in a draft last weekend and tailored the rest of my draft specifically towards getting him into play, and it was totally worth it when i dropped him on turn 5 (with even initiatives, no less).
The Heralds are always going through my head. Everytime I play a game with them I can picture each herald I play coming out and warning my opponent of impending doom. Traveling through space and causing your opponent to act quickly before his arrival.
Monkeys. Of the secret society. Namely Gorilla Grodd, and Ultra Humanite (7, the good one.) Making 10/1 haywires and stealing drops is absolutely priceless.
currently, for me it's about what 2 drops I can abuse with 5 drop Talia. It's all I've been thinking about. Different tricks or combos, how many is too many... etc
For instance is playing 1 Kyle Rayner, 1 Hard Sound Construct and 1 Melter too much? Or is it not enough?

Until World's Finest, I always get some satisfaction by looking at Gotham Knights and figuring out how to team them up to make them usable. Once World's Finest comes out, I suspect Batman and friends will be replaced by the Birds of Prey.
I also enjoy tinkering with my Villains United deck. I love Vengeance - anything that rewards me for supoptimal play is good in my book.
Mine goes back to MOR. I do, and always will enjoy having Blastaar and Annihilus in play on turn 7 during my initiative. I just love free stuns. How are you going to form? All in support. Oops, STUN! What's that you say? All in front. Oops, STUN! Both you say? Hahahahaha. I have such a Negative Zone in my heart.
Lately for me it's been wildpack... and that sexy little slice of cardboard that is bounty hunt. The potential for raw draw power in a modern format that has so many decks that will be removing their own characters from play(kree returning to hand, darkseid and Defenders subbing, doom koing, ect) in one fashion or another, and ofcourse there's capture net. Now thats sexy. Oh and of course Silver Sable... Now just mix in some defenders of the marvel variety as a way to secure a win with all those cards your drawing. When is Sam Parrington not your optimal 4 drop in defenders? When you'd rather wreck board with silver sable. Although, subbing in Parrinton later so you can attack twice with sable is pretty hot.
