Who would attend a tournament at KUBLACON in San Francisco?

I'm not sure of the event site's entry fee, but with that in mind, who would still attend, and what would it take to get you there from a prize stand point? I think I can give away something along the lines of 2-3 boxes of boosters in prize packs ( like legions, xmen and marvel team up).

If I held 2 win a box events, with additional packs, would that be enough to get a lot of players out there?

Follow the link, and check it out. It is neat, and has a lot of assorted games and a decent sized dealer hall. LARP'ers running around outside frequently, but their interaction with those of us inside is minimal. There are tons of games going on all the time though.

I'm usually at Kublacon and I'm always in the mood to support VS.

That being said, I'm still working out details of a summer internship so I'm not a guaranteed attendee at this time.

What format of tournament would you be running? Just Silver because of the current "VS Season"?

if worlds finest is legal i would say do it modern.

I doubt the finest will be around by the end of the month of May, making it tough to make legal.

Silver is the most likely choice.
