So, I'm getting ready for today's Random Punks event, and I'm having a little trouble deciding on which of the two I prefer. Flying Kick is a personal combat pump, as well as formation breaker. No Man is a utility card that can either be used to lower a defender's defense, or can be used to hate on hidden characters, and even on my own characters, should I feel the need to use it for such.
I was liking airborne assault at first, but it just seems more and more likely to not use it, and instead go for the individual combat manipulation.
The thing about No Man is you have to target they're character and when you got things in the environment such as Cloak, Huntress etc. you have to "hope." Where as Flying kick you can do before the attack becomes legal and it gives you flight.

Exactly. And with Flying Kick, you can have the +3 for when you directly attack.
I think Airstrike would have been a good choice as well, but my biggest concern was hidden characters plucking my nerves. I did run more reservists, and 2 of my losses were due to not being able to kick in 1 more combat pump. ( Sure, one of the times hurt because my opponent missed his 6 and 7 and still one due to some burn effects and 3 last stands < read: gain 30 END>, and if I'd thought for a moment he had drawn 3 of the damn things, well, maybe I'd have attacked differently to begin with)
In the final analysis, for me, I think the kick is better than no man, since it just isn't as conditional, you know?
