#1: If I declare a team attack into my opponent and then use Batman and the Outsiders...when can I play my next plot twist and not ruin the Batman PT....can I use it once it resolves and my opponent's character is returned? Also what if I use Batman....they return their character...then I use Betrayal of Trust....everything is ok with the Batman right?
#2: Battleworld is a team up right? Once I flip that my two teams can then team attack because they are both Heroes of Earth right?
#3: If I declare a team attack using Dick Grayson<>Nightwing (3 drop Outsider) and Terra and say just two other random team attackers...then use Nightwing to ready Terra does her attack still count towards the team attack? And if it does and she readys..can she activate to prevent an attacker from being stunned in the same team attack...and can she choose herself?

Thanks for all your help!!
1. As long as Batman and the Outsiders is the first PT you have used for the turn you are fine.
2. Yes this will allow all of your characters to team attack together.
3. Yes this is one of the best things you can do with terra possibly targetting Katana to KO a character.
Batman and the Outsiders
Play only if you have played no other plot twists this turn.
Return target non-defending character to its owner's hand if its cost is less than the number of Outsiders team attackers you control.
Quote
Betrayal of Trust
Remove target Outsiders team attacker you control from this attack, ready it, and put a +1/+1 counter on it.
you can play the next plot twist at any time after you have play BatO. the to play restriction is only to put the effect on the chain, once the effect is on the chain, then the restriction no longer matters. and yes, once BatO resolves you can BoT one or more of the attackers and it not effect BatO since the effect has already resolved.
2) BattleWorld is not a "Team-Up", but it does grant all of your characters an affiliation, so yes they can team attack and reinforce each other.
3) when Dick readies a character it does not remove that character from the attack, it just readies them. and yes, you would be able to use Terra's ability to prevent one of the attackers from being stunned, and she can choose herself.
I would like some clarification about the DWF Dr. Light/Colonel Yon Rogg interaction mentioned from Stu's article.
1) Declare an attack with all but a few small characters. Kim Hoshi must be in the team attack.
2) Trigger her Dr. Light effect, stunning the largest character that you possibly can.
3) After the Dr. Light effect resolves, exhaust three characters to Colonel Yon-Rogg and stun the defender. If you have Dick Grayson ◊ Nightwing, Renegade and/or Optitron Corporation, you can use characters in the attack for Yon-Rogg's effect.
4) Ready all of the team attackers and attack again. (Triggering the Dr. Light effect again!)
Does Dr. Light trigger after gaining the "team attacker" characteristic or just at the beginning of the attack sub-step?
Once the attack is legal (when your attackers exhaust after both attackers and defenders are deemed legal) her power triggers. If you have a way to stun the character you are team attacking (like Yon Rogg) you can reready everyone and do it again.
so what powers trigger at the start of the attack sub-step before they gain the "attacker" characteristic? just curious as this was the part confusing me...
6.2.1
As the attack substep starts, the current legality of the attack is checked again. Then, depending on the outcome of that legality check, the proposed attackers and defenders may or may not gain the attacker or defender characteristic. In either case, the attack substep will proceed to conclusion. After the legality check, powers that trigger at the beginning of the attack substep trigger and have their effects added to the chain. Then, the primary player gets priority.
I don't think any do. If there were a hypothetical power that triggered "Whenever an attack begins," I suppose. But there'd be virtually no difference between that and a traditional "Whenever X attacks" power; the only difference would be that the hypothetical power could trigger even when the characters fail the legality check.
I don't think anything in that paragraph is suggesting that there are two different times for powers to trigger. First an attack substep begins, presumably because they don't want anyone to become an attacker/defender outside of the attack. So once it's started, characters may gain the attacker/defender characteristics. And if any powers have triggered so far, add their effects to the chain.
