How did you beat the mission where the comp. gets a free 6 drop that you have to KO! Stupid game... But really how did you do it?

I used an X-Men deck with Finishing Moves. Bishop on 2 and Wolverine on 3 is just sick against Sentinels. Fastball Special on Mastermold? It's been a while, but I remember not having too much trouble beating it with X-Men.

I believe I used an X-men/X statix deck with lifegain and lots of defense pumps.

Dazzler is a near-cheat vs the sents. He always places them in back; therefore, her ability always works.

I just try to hang on until turn 6 when storm comes down and stops all attacks. Then on 7 I can drop rogue to ko or wolvie if i need to do damage.

Also Polaris on 4 takes away their range so you'll never get attacked back on your init. Make smart attacks.

I used a weird version of squadren. packing savage beatdown and finishing move.

I was beating it with my avengers until I realised I had no way to KO master mold got to turn 13 on -30ish endurance (vs -111) and had to switch off and try again.

(Just make sure he has either one or no cards in hand OR you have enough sadistic choices to make him have either one or no cards in hand)

Since the game allows it, pack all the pieces of the Savage/Nasty/Overload combo along with whatever team offers you the greatest amount of KO tech. That's the basic formula for success.

i personally don't have the game, but a friend of mine does...he used his x-stall deck to stall out the game until boards were even....puppet master, rogue, mimic.....things like that...

Squadron did it on turn 6. Playing Peace in our time was a big help. Don't forget the finishing moves.

oh yeah, i used overload. so polaris and overload are awesome against him. Then when I hit 6, Rogue does the ko thing. And if you have odd init. Wolverine 7 goes to town on his board.

Fastball Special and finishing move were my bread and butter.

Rogue isn't bad, as long as you can Bamf, since the cheating devils will draw all 5 cover fires against you if you aren't careful.

I've had team attacks fail where I should have crushed them and I've had the computer play plot twists they simply shouldn't have been able to ( turn 1, with no target, the computer simply flipped up a rise from the grave; I've had games where, while controlling the 7 drop Wolverine and the 1 drop invisible woman, neither stunned and no Bad presses in play, I was unable to play my team ups.)

Glitchy VS game. What about the older Masters of the Universe game for the Game boy Advance? Was that any good?
