This is set to be a great event! An Elite Series Alongside a big heroclix event with comic book artists thrown into the mix too.

The LGCD goes on all day so there will be plenty to do before and after the elite series, drafts will be available for those who want to play in them and there is always the game and comic book costume competition if you are feel like dressing up!

Loughborough is on the midland mainline train routes and accessible from East Midlands Airport

What to play, what to play...

I am assuming that parking is easy given that it is a university.

But just thought I would check. :)

Is anyone going to have the Giant-Size Galactus deck by this Saturday? Could be rather good to have that going on whilst people are waiting for matches, and have three pre-built decks so that people can switch in and out without too much hassle.

Ty (the guy who owns the Loughborough shop) says they should be in this week so I'll hopefully be weilding the power of galactus on the day...

As for three pre-builts to play against I still haven't finished building the deck I'm playing on the day so I can't make any guarantees...

I can bring along a Moloids/Doomed Earth deck and a Heralds Stall deck. Unfortunately, that's all I've got that's Silver-Age legal right now, as I'm waiting on a MVL box coming in so I could make a second X-Men team.

To play against galactus? or for me to use.

I've got most of a moloids deck but unforunately I don't have any beatdowns and only one each of unthinkable and big leagues :(

I'll have a deck reday to play it just won't be a polished as I'd like....

For anybody to use at Galactus.* If there's a few decks there that aren't being tourney-played, then they could be used purely for a Galactus game, so that for instance:

1.) I'm playing Moloids, and we're on Turn 7.
2.) My next game gets called up.
3.) 'Bob' comes along, and takes my place at Galactus.
4.) 'Bob' has his game called at turn 10, 'Dave' takes his place, and continues playing from where 'Bob' left off.

If I'm *really* lucky, I might have a Galactus Box by the weekend, it depends on the shop order coming in on time, and the suppliers have been a bit unreliable lately.


*If you wanted to borrow a Moloids deck for the actual event, I wouldn't mind. I'll send you a list of the cards in the deck by PM.

Note the Entry Fee is now confirmed as £4.50 which covers entry fee to the whole event (normally £2) and every participant will recieve a booster of a recent set (MVL or DWF whilst stocks last) along with a Marvel Zombies card just for playing in the event...
