At NY / Worlds / Indy / other future super-big events, How do you guys feel about registering with our vsrealms names as well? And them showing up on the parings list next to our names?
Asking for this type of synergism might be too much. That said, another suggestion to ease this is to post a list of translating player names to vsrealms names next to the parings sheets.

Benefits: Familiarity, meeting the people we've been talking to for years. Feature match potentials? I'm sure there's more too.
Cons: If someone's been secretly stalking you here then at such an event would be the perfect time to carry out a stalker-esque type stalker thing.

My name is my Screen name, I'm betting I'm the only Fred who plays VS, if not I have some unexpected anonymity. I think its a good idea, if only to meet someone on here without asking awkwardly ... "Do you post on realms?". For instance, we were in a Draft Pool together (Wednesday's First MVL draft, I was the guy who drafted the useless Elektra), I must have played against Bignuts during a sealed event, because when I offered the cut, the guy shuffled my deck (Like I have the skills to shuffle what I want to the top, and like I would be waisting it on a pre-release sealed event, he must of thought I really wanted those 8 packs).

Then again you might meet me, and realize I'm a horrible person, who has BO, that's stupid and can't play. That's it, I'm registering under a different name, maybe James.

Anyways, I would think that if we take a loss at an event that we wouldn't have to deal with it here, idk. Maybe it's just the vibe I've been getting from the atmosphere over the past 4 years.

The problem with that is that there are other vs forums. Granted, this is the best one, but UDE wouldn't want to play favorites.

I usually ask my opponent if he gets on realms.

We could all just wear the little sticker "My name is_____" tags, or we could just write our names on our convention badges. :)

typically at cons, youcan put a nickname on your badge. I often put my screen name on that, so people I play will see it.
