Currently there are two Shields. The one from MUN and the new one from MEQ. The second one states that it is Unique. My questions are:

1) I have two Captain America's on the board, and one of them is equipped with the MUN Shield. Will equipping the second shield on the other Cap KO the first Shield?

2) I have a plot twist or location that allows me to equip Cap with two equipment. Can I equip him with both Shields?

When you recruit the non unique equipment uniqueness is not checked but when you recruit the unique equipment it is checked. As such yes you can equip a Captain A. with both Shields as long as you recruit the unique version first and the non unique version second.

in both cases it says it KOs the unique objects while both army jamie and the MUN cap shield are both non-unique. So shouldnt they both not be KO'd due to not being unique themselves?

Aye, it doesn't matter which order you recruit them, neither will be KO'd.

You'll need to have some other effect active too if you want to put both sheilds on one cap as characters can only usually be equiped with one equipment card.
