During the War of the Realms event this year, Marvel introduced a new title featuring a handful of different rosters: Strikeforce. Each of these groups had a different mission during the War, whether it was rescuing Thor, shutting down a dark version of the Bifrost or just holding the line on Earth.

It's that last one that we're focusing on. As The War Avengers were putting out fires all over the planet, facing one threat from the nine realms after another. Bringing in some familiar names, like Captain Marvel, Black Widow, Winter Soldier and Captain Britain... while recruiting new and more brutal folks like Sit, Deadpool, Venom and Weapon H.

Why these figures - Hoo boy, this was a tough build to settle on. I kind wanted to build this for the use of Weapon H, then I used the newer iterations of Captain Britain, Venom and Sif. From that point it was just trying to settle on which versions of Captain Marvel, Winter Soldier, Deadpool and Black Widow to use. How to shake the points out. Could this team be a hundred points cheaper with the version of Carol from Mighty Thor? Maybe. Could I use a better movie-based version of Widow and cheaper Winter Soldiers? Maybe. But the points shook out perfectly this way and I like a beefy version of Captain Marvel.

Tips for running this team - Well, while this team only has three taxis, you've basically got two Hypersonic folk, two people with Charge, one really crazy ranged person with Winter Soldier and a utility piece with Deadpool. Black Widow is basically a backup for range and Sif should probably just get carried in by Weapon H. Try and put Venom next to Deadpool if he has the Spider-Man TA so he can wildcard Syndicate and share an eleven attack with Venom.

Wow, that is some scary points total. Think there might be a small error there :-)

It’s 800 points, but folks can add that to script problems like missing powers on the inline dials.

With that point total for a team, that team should have no trouble taking out a solo OG Galactus.

That said, this looks like a fun team to run. I haven't read that book, but I might need to pick it up.

You accidentally included the point values twice, meaning the script thought you wanted to use 135 copies of Captain Britain.

You could drop it to 600pts if needed by taking weapon h down to his lwr pt value, using Winter Soldier from ABPI and SF Capt Marvel.
