Origins Game Fair 2020
Origins Game Fair 2020 is a tabletop and role-playing game convention held June 17-21 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. Badge registration opens Jan13.

Hope to have 2x 4-6hr sessions. Day 1 will be 4 to 5 round tournament style. Day 2 will be an 'all-in' mass dungeon. Both will be randomly rolled heroic teams with substitutes to the random rolls. Like last year, you will roll 3 random heroes and may bring/choose 2 others to build your 100 pt team. I will have all the necessary items to run but feel free to bring your favorite heroes to augment your rolls.

Gen Con 2020
Gen Con Returns to Indianapolis July 30 – August 2, 2020. Badge registration opens Jan 26th. I will have one person coming all the way from Australia to join me at this one. May have to call it the "MKD 2020 World Championships"!

I've always preferred the Dungeons version... more level playing field for non-collectors and less power combos, IMO. That's why I hosted Ibson's Dungeons Adventures as well.

I've played plenty of 1.0 and 2.0 (even finished high in the Aussie nationals where my good friend won twice). I just do not prefer it.

OK all you MKD fans.

Events have been submitted for both Origins 2020 and Gen-Con 2020. I do not have event numbers yet but will provide when I can. Badge registration is open for Origins already and open for Gen-Con on Jan 26 (next Friday). I have enlarged every event to be opened to up to 12 players, so hopefully we can get a good amount of MKD action happening.

Each show will have one tournament style event and one multi-player dungeon event.

I love the game, I have all the necessary stuff, I like going to the cons when I can, so why not run.

Aside from getting Deadlast down to my place a couple of times a year, I do not get to play much anymore... so hosting (and occasionally filling in a spot) seems to re-fuel my MKD tank.

Just on my hooked on Phonics that is. I'm taking a big break from hooked on Phonics currently. It's nice, legalization 2000s. I played on weekends so during Uhmm what, "Uprising" I was just past my dungeons and I think mk2.0 was leaked as happening to "MKpyramids:Dungeons" in school the whole system seemed like a huge pile of stuff. And the small riders are delicate *Yawn*

I had heard about SOMEONE running a dungeons tournament and was really bummed that I missed out on it! I have been buying Dungeons stuff lately since it's the easiest way to get new players playing Mage Knight in my experience. It's also one of my greatest tabletop loves and what eventually that got me into the wargame version all those years ago.

While I really enjoy the idea of random/semi-random teams, I always just want to play the Seekers lol

Hopefully I can make it to one of these events!

With them pushing back Origins, how many here will still go in October. If it looks like we can still have enough to play, I'll commit to going.

Yeah, I officially ran dungeons events at Gencon last year (2019) and had an 'unofficial' Dungeons tourney there in 2011.
