Six very good tunes, one good song and one I didn't care for at all.

1. Green Day – Underrated song in their greatest hits repertoire.
   Bee Gees – 60s folk psychedelia. Groovy.
   Scorpions – Sentimental song for me and an ex.
   Nazareth – How can you not like any song about drinking? I liked the chorus too.
   James McMurtry – Never heard this before, but dug it.
   Kinks - Another awesome Kinks song.
   Madonna - Dated song as Madge was just beginning to to take over the charts.
   Michel Polnareff – nuh.

1. James McMurtry - When I heard this I had to go with this for a Same Name. This is probably the least known song on the list overall. The Michel Polinoff song is probably very well known in Europe and overseas as he is a very big star across the pond. He's the son of author Larry McMurtry who wrote Lonesome Dove and The Last Picture Show. His style reminds me of the late lamented John Prine and also Steve Earle.

2. Nazareth - Been a fan of Nazareth since I bought their third album Loud N' Proud when I was still a puppy.

3. Bee Gees - These guys were really good before Saturday Night Fever changed their direction.

4. Scorpions - I'm more of a Michael Schenker fan than his brother Rudolf but this is a great song.

5. The Kinks- The Kinks are always great

6. Green Day - Another good one

7. Madonna

8. Michel Polinoff - I did not hate this one. I've been to parts of Europe when I was in the military and realize their tastes are different and this was something that spoke to their sensibilities more than it would for us.
