If I have a standard speed symbol "boot" on my Wild Card can I now carry with that piece even if they aren't a flyer?

The GL team ability grants "Passenger:8".

Passenger says "This character can use the Carry ability to carry up to X characters, including characters that are the same size."

So, a character can use it and carry
