Thor #056 has this trait .

NO ASGARDIAN SHALL FALL: Defend. // When a friendly character that's adjacent or has the Asgardian keyword would take 4 or more damage, they take 3 instead.

GUARDIANS This characters combat values can't be modified by opposing characters " Effects " .

Does the Guardians team ability negate the No Asgardian shall Fall maximum 3 damage " effect " ?

If an opposing character is modifying one of these five values, the Guardians team ability kicks in. If anything else is happening, it doesn't do anything.

No, Thor's ability is not modifying the Damage combat value of the attacker. It is modifying the Damage Taken which, as Wistler said, is not a combat value.

The Guardians team ability will have no effect on Thor's ability.

That Thor # 056 figure is basically " Broken " ; it's down right ridiculous what it has for 175 pts.

Not broken at all.
Good, but not broken.
You are PAYING for what he does. There are figures who do insane amounts of party tricks for a fraction of Thor's price.
Plus, he is be Outwitted. Any character that cost more than 50% of your team AND can be Outwitted isn't broken.

Naw , I wasn't trying to have a discussion on that subject .
I just made a statement and in my personal opinion the fact that this particular Thor fig. can effect the damage taken for an entire team with the " Asgardian " Keyword makes him BROKEN in my book .

Unfortunately for me , my opponent uses this Thor fig. 90% of the time when we play against him .
