For some reason, I've been under the impression since I started playing HC that a player gets 1 action per 100 points of build total with a maximum of five actions (not counting team abilities or leadership) no matter how high the build total.

I thought I had remembered reading it in some rule book or FAQ, but after a friend challenged me to show the rule to him, I couldn't and still can't find it.

Does this sound familiar to anyone else or do I need to be sedated?

By the official rules, you get 1 action for every 100 points of your build total. Some venues play with a lower actions/point ratio, mainly to encourage the play of higher point figures in high point games. You may be remembering a house rule used where you play a lot, thinking it is an official rule.
