Well I couldn't find this and I'm sorry if it's a double post, but after the MOE fiasco I've been careful about how each item is worded, which led me to my latest query.
TELEKINESIS: Give this character a power action and choose one of the following: (2) It may move a target adjacent object that is not being held—or a friendly character—up to 10 squares. Characters automatically break away and ignore the effects of characters and hindering terrain on movement. The target may be placed on elevated terrain but may not be placed in blocking terrain. This character must have a clear line of fire to the target square.
I highlighted in red the keyword I'm concerned about. As I did in the following.
KINGDOM COME Whenever an opposing player attempts to move a character adjacent to this character, that player rolls one six-sided die. On a result of 1 or 2, the character cannot move adjacent to this character this turn. This character, and characters suffering knockback, ignore this team ability.
With out even asking it my question, or comment as it may, is probably clear. When TK'ing a figure adjacent to a KK Team member do you have to roll for adjacency. The way its worded it's a big yes to me, since it clearly stats MOVE in both power/TAs' . Since you MOVE the figure with TK and when you are trying to MOVE a figure adj to a KK Team member thier power is activated it seems pretty straight foward to me.
If I'm not correct on this, please explain fully why as it will help alot of people understand this further.
Why could a flyer not place a character next to a KK Team member. In the carrying rules it states.
To be carried, a friendly character must be adjacent to the flying character at beginning of the flying character's action. During the move action, pwer action or free action in whicht he flying character moves, count the number of squares the flier moves, including the flught mode changes. At the end of the move, the flying character must be in hover mode, and mus place the carried character in an adjacent square it is able to occupy.
It doesn't say anything about MOVING the charcater carried at all. Alls it says is that when the character ends its movement it must place the carried character down. I hate to make it a word game as in the whole instance between action and attack, but place and move (since you never move the carried character) are two differant things.
Hopefully we get some clarrification on this, as I HIGHLY respect your opinion Psy (I think you already know that though), but I just feel that PLACE and MOVE are 2 differant things. Think about it this way if TK was worded like this...
TELEKINESIS: Give this character a power action and choose one of the following: (2) It may PLACE a target adjacent object that is not being held—or a friendly character—up to 10 squares AWAY FROM IT. Characters automatically break away and ignore the effects of characters and hindering terrain on movement. The target may be placed on elevated terrain but may not be placed in blocking terrain. This character must have a clear line of fire to the target square.
If it was worded that way I'd say you could TK a character adjacent to a KK Team member due to the fact you are not "moving" the character, simply placing it.
Hopefully WK clarifys this and makes it more like this...
KINGDOM COME Whenever an opposing player attempts to HAVE a character BECOME adjacent to this character, that player rolls one six-sided die. On a result of 1 or 2, the character cannot BECOME adjacent to this character this turn. This character, and characters suffering knockback, ignore this team ability.
These little fixes would make it more clear on how a character can or can not become adjacent (in this instance CAN NOT at all unless you hit the roll).
Sorry for such a long explanation, its just this power stuck out to me like that.
regarding the KC team ability: it states that KC characters and characters suffering knockback ignor this team ability. is that referring to characters being knocked back INTO a character with the KC TA, i.e. being knocked adjacent to a character with the KC TA?
Ominous 8: Dr. Doom, Mysterio, M.O.D.O.K., Swarm, the Wizard, the Klaw, dire wraiths, Riptide.

Telekinesis clearly states it ignores the effects of characters on movement so it should ignore the character's TA ability.
It doesn't say ignore TA's or Powers. It says a characters effects on movement.
I thought that at first too then I had to reread some things to clarify it.
PSL, I recall reading somewhere that BroMags said you couldn't taxi or TK a figure next to a KC figure.
If you read the KC description: KINGDOM COME Whenever an opposing player attempts to move a character adjacent to this character, that player rolls one six-sided die. On a result of 1 or 2, the character cannot move adjacent to this character this turn. This character, and characters suffering knockback, ignore this team ability..
To me, this says when the player (me) attempts to move one of my figures next to a KC, by whatever means, I, the player have to see if I’m allowed.
The method of movement is irrelevant, and isn’t even stated in the TA description.
From that though, I have another question. If the player is the one who has to roll for adjacency, how would PC work? (Would it work at all?)
