Ok, I'm going to what appears to be a "semi-sealed" tournament this weekend. The thing says to bring 100 points worth of DC characters, then you buy 2 booster packs (it doesn't say what kind) and then build a 300 point team using the 100 points you bring w/ you and 200 points out of the boosters you pull. So here's the question... who should I take as my 100 point team? And if I can buy any boosters which should I pick?

Right now I'm thinking V Green Arrow and LE Atom as my 100 points and a pack of Unleashed (I have almost the entire set) and a pack of Cosmic Justice as my boosters. Any thoughts?

I am partial to taking a Vet G. Arrow and Ex. Deathstroke.

Want to make sure you have that outwit... which comes in tons more helpful than perplex.

Interesting... only allowing for 200 points gets rid of the Magog and Supes bomb. Making Black Adam, W.Woman, and Shazam reign supreme... if pulled.

Yeah I thought about Deathstroke. Main problem? I only have the R and V versions and the E would fit perfectly. I need to pick up the E version b/c Deathstroke is one of my favorite pieces in DC.

V Green Arrow and LE Atom are good choices. I also think V Nightwing and V Easy co Medic are good choices too--outwit, dual incap, Batman and PD TAs if you draw any wildcards, and support.

I'd go w/V Hawk, V Robin and an R Easy Co. Medic if the venue allows medics. Hawk rules the world, and Robin is the greatest 22-pt. piece in creation.

personally i'd stick with atom.
he has perplex up front true.... but after a few clicks of damage he gets phasing and outwit.
free move phasing outwit comes in handy.

Guess I should have read more carefully. It also says that you have to have a minimum of three figures but no more than four. Soooo with that in mind I was thinking V Deathstroke, V Robin, V Checkmate Medic = 99 points.

Why the Checkmate Medic and not the Easy Co (hey look I have a TA) medic? Maybe the checkmate is more of a combatant... but who wants their medic fighting?

Anyway I would then go with your:
Vt Deathstroke = 58
Vt. Robin = 22
Vt. Easy Co Medic = 19
to total 99 points. The police TA can help you out a lot... especially when you get stuck with lower AVs then you'd like in marquee.

Hmm you're right. Checkmate Medic was in there b/c I THOUGHT his attack was higher than the other medics. But I just checked and his only advantage over the Easy Co. Medic is that click of 2 damage. So yeah I guess Easy would be a better fit w/ his TA. Appreciate the help!

I recently played in an Unleashed tournament like that.

The rules were you were allowed to bring 100 points of DC HeroClix and buy 2 Unleashed Boosters to round out a 300 point team.

Here's who I brought...

The Atom (Limited Edition): 50 points
Oliver Queen (Limited Edition): 50 points

The two worked, and work, well together. Unfortunately, I got some !@#$%^ pulls and was not in the game for long.

But I did manage to get a Kilowog out of deal, so it wasn't all that bad...

use the blue bats and get 1 CJ booster and 1 U booster.

rookie raven for 50 and exp batgirl for 41 and rookie easy co medic for 9 gives you batman team, perplex, two characters with healing and probability control. take cosmic justice or unleashed boosters for draft to get a legion character live wire or saturn girl or brainiac would be best.both sets are also loaded with characters with range expert.
