Whoever takes a click of damage must be given an action for it to work, and you can only trade off 1 click per action.

one click per action, and the action is a power action. Other than that treat it like a power action...you can push to exchange clicks, for example.

There is no limit to how many times a game this can be done.

You do the exchange during your turn as a power action against your action allotments during the turn.

In case it wasn't clear, you can only use the XMan TA once per figure since you can only give a figure one action in a turn. You can heal an XMan twice if you have enough adjacent figures.

Nightcrawler could be healed twice in the same turn (once by Jean, once by Storm) but Jean cannot be used to heal Psylocke and Nightcrawler on the same turn.
