1) Let's say a stealthed figure is at the base of a building. Can a figure at the top of the building (in the next square) see the stealthed figure? If not, what if the fig atop the building has L/C? Vice versa?
2) Can you outwit a team ability?
3) Can you purplex a character's range when he has 0 range to start with?
4) If I sucessfully mindcontrol a fig with Mystics ability, do I take damage (if the MC'd fig is <100 pts, that is)?
5) When TKing, where do you count the spaces from...the TK'd figure's position or the space of the TKer?

Vice versa? if the stealthed fig isnt in hindering, the fig on the roof can indeed see said fig. L/C only grants you close combat from different elevations, not sight of a stealther, but yes you can attack a STEALTHED stealther with L/C from atop of a building
2) Can you outwit a team ability? no. but you can outwit the outwit granted by the Superman Enemy Team Ability.
3) Can you perplex a character's range when he has 0 range to start with? Yes, but 1 range is pointless since that's still close combat. You'd need a range of 2 at least.
4) If I sucessfully mindcontrol a fig with Mystics ability, do I take damage (if the MC'd fig is <100 pts, that is)? No, only TARGETED damaging attacks trigger the Mystics TA.
5) When TKing, where do you count the spaces from...the TK'd figure's position or the space of the TKer? The object/figure being TK'd.
Are you a PbP'r (Play By Poster)? Come and check out www.creationmatrix.com; we've got EVERYTHING.
2.) No, however, you can Outwit the Outwit of a character with the Superman Enemy TA.
3.) Yes, you can. For example, a character with 0 range can attack a character on the roofs edge (when you are adjacent to them) with a ranged attack because their range is now 1.
1) The character with sleath cannot be seen (more accurately, Line of Fire cannot be drawn to him) if he is in hindering terrain, like a bush. Elevation does not matter. You do not need LOF fire to make a close-combat action on an adjacent figure. These figures are not adjacent w/o leap/climb. If the figure on the ground has L/C, he can close-combat the rooftop guy. I don't know about vice versa, and I don't have the PAC handy to check the wording.
2) No
3) Yes. You need to perplexes to even make it worthwhile, practically speaking, since the first peplex only makes the range one.
4) No. MC delivers no damage, hence the team ability never comes into play. It is fun to MC somebody and make them atttack a Mystics figure, though!
3) Can you perplex a character's range when he has 0 range to start with? Yes, but 1 range is pointless since that's still close combat. You'd need a range of 2 at least.
Well, you could still use it to attack someone on a different elevation. so it's not totally useless.
Similarly, if you perplex up the range of a figure with 0 range who is in square next to a soaring figure, that figure can now attack the soaring figure.

It works both ways.
A grounded L/C figure may do a close combat action on an elevated figure and an elevated L/C figure may do a close combat action on a grounded figure.

From the PAC on L/C:
This character may target a grounded or soaring figure with a close combat action, regardless of the target’s elevation.
