"In multi-player games, you may use this (your) character’s Probability Control only once when it is not your turn."
Say I am player A. Players B and C are fighting each other. B rolls a hit on C, and I don't want that to happen for whatever reason. Can I, as player A, make B re-roll the successful attack on player C?
I would imagine I would not be allowed to do this. We were not allowed to do this between even teammates when we were playing Battle Royals at Origins, but I am having trouble finding a written clarification on this. I would guess the rule was written this way to intend on simply making it clear that you could re-roll your opponent's dice roll only ONE time per character you have with probability control, but yet the wording opens up other doors again....
Yes. You can use probability control *one* time on your turn, and *one* time when it's not your turn. So you can make B reroll, but then you won't be able to do any more rerolls until it's your turn again (with that PCer)
I don't see any reason for this to be disallowed as you are causing B to reroll his/her own dice. The "once ... turn" just means that you couldn't use the same PCer to act during B and C's turn, you would only be allowed to PC for one opponent (unless of course you had a PCer for every other player)

Well, technically, the rule says "Your character with Probability Control may only be used to reroll your dice during your turn, and an opponent's dice during an opponent's turn."
So maybe that's why we were not allowed to do it in the Battle Royals. The guy on my side of the table is technically my teammate and not my opponent. So it's not so much one time when it is my turn and one time when it is not, it is me and opponent....
