Let's say you have a clix with mastermind and he/she is hit for 3 clix of damage, they go to pass the damage off to the "lackey" standing next to them but he only has two clix of life left;

does the lackey take all the damage and get KO'd
-or-
does the lackey get KO'd and the last point gets put back on the mastermind clix?

All damage is transfered to the hapless lackey.

The lackey takes all of the damage even if it's more than it takes to k.o. him. The Mastermind doesn't get any of the left over damage.
