I'm sure this has been asked and answered a million times but...

Since Prof X does no damage, how can he get AE points for KOing Magneto? If he MCs another fig who then delivers the coup, does X get the double points? How else could it be done?

Xavier's unique has 1 damage and you can always perplex the original... but the IC was created before hypertime... so when they designed him there was no perplex.

In other words, if Prof X MCs Joe Blome, and Joe Blome KOs Mags, Prof X gains double the points for KOing his AE.

Also, don't forget under the IC original rules you assigned tokens to a MC'd character, so Prof. X could have made Mags push to death (unfortunately no longer an option). Now however, you can have Mags attack a Mystic/Crossgen and kill himself that way. Or if playing on a shock the turtle board, run him into the barrier.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if Prof rolls a critical hit, wouldn't that deal 1 damage to Magneto also? That might knock him out...

Mind Control Says it deals "NO damage". Even if you crit hit you still deal "No Damage".

Right you are. Another little mistake at my local venue. That's what you get when only half a dozen people really knows the rules and teaches everyone else.

Prof X could always punch Magneto, roll a 12 and do 1 click of damage which knocks him into a wall for another click of damage.
