some basic questions, thanks

1. If ironman uses energy explosion on a target that is adjacent to a fig with ES/D, does the splash of the EE trigger ES/D?

2. My opponent has a flying character and a grounded character adjacent to a grounded character of mine. Is my char. engaged in combat only with his grounded character.. or can i shoot his flying fig as well?

3. Does pulse wave ignore Mystics TA?

Yes. ES/D 'activates' anytime a ranged combat attack is used, even if that character is not a direct target.

If by "flying" you mean Soaring, then no, you cannot attack the Soaring character (unless the attacker has the L/C power). Since your non-flying character is adjacent to an opposing non-flyer, you cannot make ranged combat attacks.

3. Does pulse wave ignore Mystics TA?

PW ignores ALL Powers ant Team Abilities.
