In the last edition of Comic Accurate, we covered the roster from issues 260-261 as the Legion had been split into smaller groupings, each on their own adventure. The following issue was no different. One team was on Earth rebuilding the Legion headquarters, but that group can't be made since it requires Light Lass.

The other group however, was following R.J. Brande on his quest to create new stars and deliver them to customers. But when one of the planets they're selling to are all killed, the Legion investigates. Turned out to be the work of an artificial planet that roamed the galaxy, piloted by a marauder. But when he passed away, the planet kept following its programming.

So our team is that splinter of the Legion!

Why these figures - Alas, in some cases like poor Chameleon Boy, we have no other alternatives. So him, Dream Girl, Karate Kid... had to take what we could get. While using the more recent versions for the rest of the team. And of course making room for the ATA.

Tips for running these teams - Since this team allows for the ATA you've definitely got options. Ignore hindering with Superman Ally? Get stealthy with Batman Ally? Chain attack with Batman Enemy since some of the team really needs it? Go Injustice League if you get lucky to roll high? This is where the biggest part of your strategy will lie. Because these old pieces are gonna need some help.

That Karate Kid is actually not all that bad for 63 pts.
But Dream Girl?... yeah... I must be dreaming... 'cause I just spent 50 pts for PC.

Just curious, who did you have in mind for assigning the Ring to? Make a taxi out of Dream Girl or Chameleon to get some use out of them? or assign to one of the others to make use of Defend?

Definitely the latter. Probably utilizing SLoSH #007 Shrinking Violet and sharing the 19 defense. But like any relic, it all depends on pulling off picking it up or not.

You have the wrong Shrinking Violet if you want to share a 19 defense.

You need this one.



I know that there are morph options, but you didn't mention sidelining any of the other Violets.

Yeah, forgot to include them. Doesn't matter. Either start with that one or morph it out and then try to go for the ring.

thanks for the article, I love the legion, and their diverse and hefty roster opens them up to tons of different lineups

the big two things this article points out (that's no news to long time legion fans) is
1) how long must we wait for ayla?
2) how long must we wait for a good chameleon boy?!?

Batman enemy would be a good ta to WC to bolster the AVs

Nothing I love more than comic accurate LoSH teams. Boy this does remind me we need a new Chameleon Boy and Dream Girl...(not to mention Lightning Lass for Pete's sake).
