With all the new X-Men Animated 2x2s, I was under the assumption that, because they are standard sized () they can equip things like the infinity gems.

Is this actually true?

I thought I saw somewhere that they couldn't, but then I played a match the other day where there was a peanut based Daredevil with the venom harvest.

I'd love if they could, but I just dont know the official ruling.

Peanut-base characters can still be standard. (Page 31 of the rulebook.)

Single base and peanut base figures with the standard damage symbol are normally the only standard characters barring a few exceptions. 2x2 figures are not standard characters even if they have the standard damage symbol.
