So, you are remembering right. Rick and Morty was touched on during the original run of this article series. Looking at the original list, there is a lot that could be done with later season 2 and all of season 3, so we'll look at that. Let's say that this is the second set after that! Rick and Morty is an animated series that airs on Cartoon Network. It chronicles the adventures of the titular characters Rick Sanchez and his grandson Morty Smith. Season 3 saw Beth, Jerry and Summer all getting in on the action as well.

Potential powers and Traits:
A lot of range with the prevalence of laser guns and energy blasts. This would bring Penetrating/Psychic Blast and Range Combat Expert. The "Deathstalkers" group (DS Summer, Hemorrhage and the Common) would provide some close combat

I'd give Vance Maximus a trait to allow him to give a friendly figure the "Vindicators" keyword for letting Morty join the team. Toxic Rick can generate a Toxic Morty bystander. Keara, Jerry's alien girlfriend on the rebound would have a bonus depending on whether she's on a team with Jerry or her ex Trandor

Pickle Rick just might end up being the most dangerous Tiny size figure! (Not sorry Mini Shredder). He and Jaguar could allow the other to not break theme if they are on the same team.

Keywords:
This set would introduce a few new named keywords: The afore-mentioned Death Stalkers and Vindicators. Task Force Alpha on the Common, Invisi-Troopers and The President so they can theme up.
On the generic side, Scientist, Soldier, Robot, Armor on the various Ricks. Cosmic, Animal, Brute... just about any could appear!

Character Spotlight

The common Rick and Morty will be able to change into the chases or Pickle Rick. Either Shifting Focus or a replacement when a certain thing happens. SEAL Team Rick will actually be a generic soldier type.

Jerry, Beth, Summer
These versions will be combat capable. Jerry when dating Keara gained telekinesis and went with her to Hunt. He wouldn't be awesome, but more than a bystander. Beth would have powers to represent "The ABC's of Beth", which is a seriously jacked up episode... And finally, Summer will be in her Deathstalker get up.

Mr. Poopybutthole
Probably the ultimate support piece! The family has no bad memories with him, so he'd do a lot to support and strengthen them. Prob, Perplex, Empower, Enhancement. And for sure a Unique. Ooh wee!


Why would Wizkids even attempt this?
The show is pretty popular. The "Rickmobile" that goes around the country advertising the show frequently sells out of merch fast. It's very quotable, almost annoyingly. There have been a few games already released based around a few episodes like "The Ricks Must be Crazy", "I'm Mr. Meeseeks" and "Pickle Rick". So they aren't above gaming!

faster than flash, those dials are great. Though, Morty needs a trait that he can become a vehicle, if you remember it was discovered that Rick converted Morty to be able to become a car hahah
