Golden Age question.

Can Colossals be given Lantern Constructs, and, if not, why not ??

They sure can, unless there's a change I missed somewhere.

If they can be assigned a resource they can be given construct.
Most Colossal are able to be assigned a resource.
(I have played Avengers Galactus with the Sinestro Battery a couple of od times)

I played Nekron with the black ring on a power battery, gave him the decoy construct and camouflage feat and found a map with either blocking terrain or a wall in the starting area. I felt a little dirty afterwards but had fun doing it.

To note, there are only a few old colossals that can't be assigned resources and they say so on their card/instruction sheet. It's not the norm so you're not likely to have one that can't have a resource.
