If I'm attacked and hit, use Impervious and miss the roll, then can I use Mastermind, or can I only pick one or the other?


My thinking is if you use Impervious and miss the roll, you are taking the damage -2, so therefore you wouldn't able to use Mastermind.



What the correct call on this please?

You would have to decide on using mastermind first because that decision occurs in the “determine hit targets” step of the attack sequence. Using Impervious occurs in the “damage sequence” step which occurs after determining hit targets.
