Task Force Mercenary question (Running shot and Energy explosion)
Above is the Task Force Mercenary dial. My question has to do with the running shot and energy explosion piece, along with enhancement. Since energy explosion has changed since I last played, I was having trouble finding the right rulings. So, here are my questions:
1. Does EE work with enhancement? I think the answer is no, based on another thread I saw.
2. When you running shot, do you have to always use EE?
3. Similar to 2, do you have to always use EE with the Mercenaries, even if you want to group them to use their enhancement to make a simple range attack? I know powers are not optional anymore, so I wanted to make sure.

2. No, Running Shot gives you a RANGED. Which can be used for any action that is of that type, including just a regular ranged attack.
3. No, you would have to choose to use Energy Explosion. You are perfectly fine to just make a ranged attack.
