When an opposing character targets Tar Pit with a close combat attack, after that attack resolves, roll a d6 and place Living Tar tokens on the attacker's card equal to half of the result. Once, for all characters with this trait, characters decrease their attack value by 1 for each Living Tar token on their card and may be given a power action to remove all Living Tar tokens from their card? Yes. please!

I don't understand the trapped in tar trait. I think what is killing me is the "once" word. Do you declare when you want all the attack values decreased or is it once per turn. Can someone please explain?

It means even if you have a million Tarpits in play, 1 Living Tar token = -1 to Attack. This effect is ongoing as long as the Living Tar tokens are on the card and a character with the Trapped in Tar trait is in play. You can have any number of Living Tar tokens on a character card, but the negative modifier they apply maxes at -3, due to the Rule of 3.

He's good friends with Turtle in my house. Tarpit, Turtle and Zuvembies. It's a good thing.

Pulled him and captain thunder tonight. Tarpit copied mystics and got carried around. Makes him someone you really don't wanna hit!

This guy is great. Hard to hit, punishes you for hitting him and laughs as you try to hit him again.

His movement special can really hinder speedsters! (Which I think is the point of putting him in the flash set) This entire set is jammed pack full of hypersonic speed AND hypersonic speed kryptonite. I love it!

The tv show really did this guy justice.
