If an opponent attacks my Loki fig. and he Masterminds the damage to a friendly character with the Mystics TA , does the attacker get the Mystic backlash ???

Yes, because the mystics character is now the target of the attack and receives the damage from the attacker.

Winning the game means little if it is not with the characters that I would want to win!
