The time token shenanigans are cool… I wish he had some improved targeting though. In addition to that, I hoped he would have had an ability to pick a power printed on his card for free to use until you choose again like some figures have. Since his dial is so over the place I thought that would have been a good and appropriate update.

Does he get a token for each character hit? Or just one token regardless of how many characters were hit?

When he hits (any number of characters), he gets a token.

With his low printed defense values, you can merely attack him before he attacks any of your figures, so you can kill him, before he can get tokens that he could use to modify his defense values. I do not feel Legacy Cards that do not have a SP that boosts combat values from the start, and without you having to do something to get that boost, appealing or worth the cost of buying the Card, or the figure, if you do not have it.
