A REAL STUMPER: Outwit. When The Riddler uses it to target an opposing character that was targeted by Perplex since your last turn, after resolutions deal that character 1 damage.
Under which following situation does the damage effect trigger?
1. Opponent Perplexes his/her character on his/her turn. Riddler Outwits that character on his immediate turn after.
2. A friendly character to Riddler Perplexes his/her opposing character on his/her turn. Riddler Outwits that opposing character on the same turn.
3. A friendly character to Riddler Perplexes his/her opposing character on his/her turn. Riddler Outwits that opposing character on the next turn.
I am assuming 1 is yes, and 2 and 3 are no, but is this sort of thing covered anywhere? It came up in Notorious sealed last night.
(Note: this exact wording has been an issue since 2012. See the Units comments for Captain America AVM028 for a debate from then regarding that Cap and pushing a friendly character.)
Any character that was targeted by Perplex since the end of your last turn would be dealt the damage if Riddler targets them with Outwit. So yes to 1 and 2, no to 3.
