not in my opinion. i have and probably will always choose venom or spiderman over him.

He can be decent. A relatively deep dial, solid and consistent number wise, packing a ton of Leap/Climb and Toughness. His defense starts at 17, which is relatively high, and with BCF, he can potentially hit for big damage, allowing you to use his Perplex on his AV or on the rest of your team. So for the points, he's not too bad.

On the downside, compared to V Venom, he's more expensive, and Venom opens up with Super Strength, a higher base AV, and Perplex. So with Carnage, Blades means you might deal 6, but you're just as likely to hit for 1. With Venom, you're probably going to hit for 5 - 2, plus a heavy object, plus Perplex. So Carnage falls a little flat in comparison. Venom also picks up blades later in his dial, right around the time Carnage loses blades for Toughness, so Venom is the better damage dealer after taking a few hits.

All in all, Venom is similar, but a superior choice for most teams.

I love playing Carnage and Venom in my leap/climb spider-enemies team.

Carnage totally pulls his own weight everytime I field him. Last game he took out Hellcat, Vet Psylocke and Vet aquaman all on his own.

carnage along with venom is one of the best choices for pounce...too bad you can't B/C/F with it

Hm, Pounce and BCF could make Carnage nasty if they could be used together.

All in all I find Pounce fairly useless on anyone but low point value harrassers. It'd be sweet if the 2 damage prerequisite wasn't in there. Esspecially when the character takes an auto click.

i agree carnage is a good figure. but with pounce he will be a nasty peice to use with bcf if you use tk to throw him and use pounce than you can get almost to the other players starting area. so carnage is a good peice to play
but pounce and carnage i will be using a lot

carnage is woth using just because he looks so friggin' awesome! probably the best heroclix sculpt there is in my opinion and its even cooler to use him with pounce cause thats what his sculp happens to be doin!

carnage is okay. 2 damage superstrength (on V venom) with perplex does 5 damage once, and then 3, if you use your perplex on him. BCF does 3.5 damage average on EVERY attack (more if you PC it) and you can use the 'plex elsewhere. plus, he looks rocking, and he can be used with beta-ray bill in a "you could have brought this team in less expensively" theme team

For me, Carnage is okay but he's not the best that you can get for his point value... Venom is a better alternative, his damage won't depend on rolls and he gets BCF after SS, unlike Carnage's Incap...
