For those of you who have not seen it, the Statesman clix from City of Heroes has a 12 range, BUT has Battle Fury on every click except his last one. Why would WK do this, I don't get it ... I know I must be missing something. Can anyone help explain this to me? What good is that 12 range?

He's got Pulse Wave on his last click, so this gives him a PW range of 6, letting him go out with a bang.

It certainly strengthens his Pulse Wave when he gets it. The 12 range is sort of insigificant in terms of his cost but it's frustrating that it is there and you can't really use it. It's an intresting and original dial at least...even though he's not really useful.

Of course, if your opponent is playing a mind control/outwit team, they might outwit Statesman's battle fury...

... but probably they won't.

I have played where the special rules were everyone has to have battle fury. It was before Statesman though. Cheetah was the most popular.

It saves him points having Battle Fury and makes him true to his concept.
