Hello...this is my question because i've heard you can do this, but i want to see the ruling of it if it's true. Can I mastermind mystic/crossgen damage?? Oomebody said I could but I'm very unsure of such craziness!
Mastermind kicks in whenever the fig with that power is dealt damage. You can mastermind off any damage you are given, whether it's from an attack, Crossgen, poison, or even Earthquake!

The only damage you can't MM away is pushing damage (I love Incapacitate for MM figs), Mind Control feedback damage (it is damage *taken* not damage *dealt*), and Pulse Wave (since it ignores powers and abilities).

With the key being what you said at the start...you can MM any damage dealt to the character.
(Which is why the damage normalview mentioned, plus PW for the reasons stated, cannot be MMed.)
Here's another question: If you mastermind off one point of damage to an adjacent character and that character has toughness (or any other type of damage reducing power) do they not take the click of damage?

Generally they will not take any damage.
MMed damage will retain the properties from the source (ie: if from Psychic Blast it will still ignore damage reducing powers.) But otherwise, if a character with MM is dealt 1 click of damage and it MMs it to another character with Toughness...that character with Toughness will be dealt 1 click of damage through the MM so the Toughness will kick in and reduce the damage to 0.
