Case 1.
We have U. Abbey Chase, the little girl has Stealth and Danger Girl TA.
A non-Ultimates, non-Superman Ally, non-Wildcard copying such; character with Charge wants to attack Abbey Chase, because she is in stealth he can´t see her and thus can´t declare the attack, ok? So, when is the Danger Girl TA going to be rolled?, if the character charges adjacent to Abbey and she rolls the 6 needed for her TA, what happens with the charger?
Case 2.
Let’s say we have LE Magneto, Magneto-Xorn to the friends, he has both Telekinesis and Ranged Combat Expert, if you apply Trick Shot on this little beast he can “Trick-Teleport” a friendly character behind enemy lines?
Case 1: the character runs adjacent to Abbey. If she gets her roll, the attacker stays where it is; if there´s an Abbey teammate adjacent to her, it can be attacked. If not, attack is wasted.
Case 2: No. Trick Shot works only on attacks (I believe even the Marvel version was faq´d to that).
Junior.
It amazes me how people who play with small toys resembling comic book characters can take everything so seriously...
Case 1
Hawk must make the move action portion of the attack, then the danger girl roll is made. If successful Hawk is stuck. If the Danger Girl roll is missed, then Hawk gets his attack roll followed by Abby's super senses roll.
case 2
Before the legacy version of trick shot was released, yes. Now the Marvel version has been FAQ'ed to read the same as it's DC counterpart so you can only use trickshot when making an attack. TKing a friendly piece is not an attack.
Catering to the lowest common denominator since Feb 2003.
Just wanted to elaborate on the answers TMNT99 gave.
1. He is correct in saying that you do not need LOF to declare a charge. What will happen is that the character will take the move portion of the action, and then will declare the attack against Abbey. You then roll the DG ability and when that resolves, the charger then rolls the attack against either Abbey (if you failed the DG roll) or against another legal figure that is adjacent to the charging figure. If there is no other legal figure, the attack does not occur, but the charger still receives an action token.
2.) This is due to the errata that came out in March. Trickshot now only works when an attack is being made. TKing a friendly figure is not an attack, but TKing a dumpster at your opponent's head is. The Mutant Mayhem version of Trickshot has been FAQed to be identical to the Legacy version.
