When someone uses LP....can one of my figures stand on the token unabling the LP figure to return to battle, or what? Whats the rule on that token.
No they cannot.

[i]From the DC FAQ on LP:/[i]
Until the character that has Lazarus Pit assigned to it is returned to the battlefield, no other character may be placed in the square with the Special marker.
Here's a LP question. If a flyer returns from LP, does he still have flying if you don't roll the 5 or 6? I realize that Flight is not a "super power" per se, but to me (an ordinary guy) flight is a super power or everyone would have it wouldn't you agree? I ask this for the purpose of an adjacent non-flying fig trying to do a range combat attack. What do you think? Also, if you lose all powers but still retained flight, would unique Shazam! be a flyer on his first click since he loses Earthbound. Hmmmm. What then, huh?

Yes, he would. Flight is a movement mode, not a power. You cannot counter it with anything besides a BFC. It’s the same as a character with Aquatic movement, or Giant figs, or Big figs.
How are VPs for a figure with Lazarus Pit awarded? When are points for the Pit itself awarded? I suspect I've been playing it incorrectly.
LP is a "choose a character" feat so it adds to character's point value. A 186 point character with LP is worth 206 points. (So the points for LP are not independant of the character.)
When the character is KOd, your opponent gets 206 points.
Plus: If the game ends with character on LP, then your opponent gets another 206 points. If the character returns to the game, then the player who played the character gets 206 points. If the character is KOd again, then your opponent gets another 206 points.

Even if LP is removed from play? Wouldn't your opponent only get 186 pts the second time? It's not like the character actually returned with the feat attached to it (since it clearly says to remove it from the game after one use)

Nope.
The Feat added to the character's point value per the FAQ. So even though the Feat was removed from the game when used...the character is still worth 206 points throughout the game.
