A figure that starts in an square away from the starter area (purple line) due to the effects of the Infiltration BFC is considered to have first turn immunity, or that doesn't count because it is not in the boundaries of the purple line area?

The FAQ isn't out yet, but Hair10 has stated several times that characters using Infiltration still get FTI as long as they're still in their "starting position."

Cool. So, Icons rulebook is really messed, because it states that the starter area is the purple line area ... lol ...

There is a difference in the wording. The purple lines mark the starting "area". FTI protects figures in their starting "position". Subtle, yet different.
