Members of this team act as wild cards. They can use any team ability that any friendly character on the battle map possesses. They may use this ability once each action.
Im kind of confused with this, i mean it clearly states that members of this team can use this ability only once each action, so if im using lets say spiderman i wouldnt be able to copy the Batman ally team ability beacuse i can only used a copied ability once each action right and beacuse the Batman ally works as Stealth and stealth only works as a defence in your opponets turn. This is really confusing me, can you use the wildcards with abilities that work on your opponents turn such as "JSA", "MYSTICS" etc.?
There is an argument on the Wizkids HCRules forum about this right now...as far as if I declare a stealth TA, can the 'replacement' action by the attacker be to do a completely different type of action (even with a different character) while the stealth TA is 'locked in'.
I suggest that before each action by a player, the opposing player must clearly identify what TAs his/her WCs are using if any. The opposing player can change TAs after that action but before the next action.This is not the existing rule.
If you follow this suggestion, you seem to get the spirit of the new rules...this is not how the rules are written, but it would allow for a player to set up 'default' states for the WCs rather than 'legacy' states. E.g. "My WCs are Brotherhood during my turn, and Kabuki during yours."
