Quick question. I have a Brilliant Tactician FF team (some natural/some wc's), using Reed Richards LE as lynchpin. Does Disbanded! BFC negate Reed from using BT on all team mates or just the WC's OR none of the above? I would think it would only negate usage on the those figs that don't have the same team ability naturally...

I'd be very interested in finding out your interpretations...

i think that you lose BT because there is not TA on play.... so how you can do it if the prerequisite in not done. And disbanded! ignores all TA i s like your all team don´t have affiliation.

Disbanded! causes all team abilites to be ignored. Brilliant Tactician also keys off of team abilities, so when they are ignored because Disbanded! is in play, BT can't function. Incidently, this is also why BT can be used to effect wildcards copying team abilites.

It is important to remember that Disbanded! does not remove team symbols, though. So that means an X-men is still an X-men (even though it can't use its TA) and it is still archenemies with a Sentinel. Also, a couple other Feats and BFC also key off of team symbols (like Assembled), so they would still work, too, even with Disbanded! in play.

well actully the real answer is that Disbanded ignores team abilitys you can still have the team abilities just not use them so therefore BT could be used with WC and natural FF they can still copy the ability its just ignored

No. This has been ruled, checked, and upheld numerous times by the RA. The answer is as I explained earlier is the way it works.

Here's the definition of "ignore" from the Icons Rule Book: is not affected by or treats the stated property or effect as if it didn’t exist or happen.

While Disbanded! is in play, yoy treat the Team Abilities as if they do not exist. Any effect that keys off of TAs (and not Team Symbols) will not function with Disbanded! on the board. Therefore, Brilliant Tactician can't be used.
