This came up in a game a few weks ago. I wanted to mind control the Hulk but he had battle fury showing. So I outwitted battle fury and the player objected. Well the judge wasn't sure I could do that (mainly b/c it has never come up before) but allowed b/c he could see no reason not to (the player was arguing that Battle Fury isn't a power).

Now I think the judge and I were correct but I always want to make sure sice heroclix often has silly little known rules.

So whats the correct call?

You should be able to do this, I would think.

You can't Outwit your OWN powers, specifically Battle Fury (so you could either do a ranged combat attack or be carried).

But Battle Fury is a power, and Outwit counters powers -- making it as if the power wasn't on the dial.

It's thematically correct, too, I would say... "calming the Hulk," not always to the Hulk's benefit, has been done in comics before.

If it is on the PAC, its either a Power or a Team Ability... that's the reason it is called the Powers and Abilities Card.

Battle Fury is a power. So that's the end of that particular debate. Also, when you check the power description of Battle Fury, nothing in the description says it can't be countered (unlike, say, Earthbound). Ergo, Battle Fury can be Outwitted.
