This came up yesterday during a game. Someone was wanting to use NGN Supes and pickup an object and a character at the sametime. The Judge there wasnt too sure bout it. So I ask could supes indeed carry a person and pick up an object at the same time or not?

Sure. The only thing the rules say about carrying objects and flight is that the flier can't carry a character that is holding an object. So Supes couldn't pick up Hawk if Hawk was holding an object, but it would be just fine for Supes to grab an object and Hawk.
AAAhhh Much thanks normal. Also if I may ask another? Regarding Giants and being locked up with one. Same game a guys Atlas was within 2 squares of 3 differ clix. and the question asked was if the 1in the middle wuld be locked up with Atlas?

What do you mean "in the middle" and "locked up"? I am assuming "locked up" probably is referring to breaking away for movement, but I really don't know what you mean by "in the middle". Please restate your question.
alright it was like this:
x
X x
x X= Atlas,x= other team. one of the other guys was the middle x,n the question was asked boout if his was adjacent to Atlas or not.

Do mean like this?
Code:
x
A x
x
A = Altas, x = opposing characters two squares away from Atlas
If so, none of the opposing characters could perform a close combat attack on Atlas unless they were also Giant characters. The two square radius effects movement and the Giant's close combat. Normal sized characters still need to actually be adjacent (within one square) to perform close combat attacks.
If a regular figure is 2 squares away from a Giant, that figure cannot make a close combat attack against the Giant.
The Giant, however, CAN make a close combat attack against that figure.
From pages 30-31 of the Icons rulebook:
Quote
Standard-sized and big characters are adjacent to giant characters up to two squares away for movement purposes but not for close combat attack purposes. A standard-sized or big character must be within one square of a giant character to make a close combat attack against it.
What I can't find, but I am pretty sure the rule is, is that if a standard character is two squares away from a Giant, it must roll for breakaway to move closer to be within one square of the Giant.
Is this clearly spelled out in the rules anywhere, or is this just assumed as part of the "adjacency" issue?

It's part of the adjacency. At two squares away, a character is considered adajcent to a Giant for movment purposes. If it wants to move, it will have to roll breakaway just like being adajcent to any other character when it wants to move.
yeah that what i meant Normal, thanks for the help once again
