Hi! My friend just rolled a critical miss while healing one of his figures. Who gets the damage? The character that's healing or the character that's being healed?

The character that is being healed takes the damage. For example, if Dr. Mid-Nite is using support on Stargirl and you roll a critical miss, Stargirl will take the damage even though Dr. Mid-Nite made the attack roll.
