Hey there. I've decided to come up with a 300-point team based on the movie Back to the Future. Any suggestions for who I should use?

Impulse for Marty. Thomas Oscar Morrow for science dude maybe? Solomon Grundy or Blockbuster fro Bif? Peter Parker for Marty's dad?

I can see Impulse for Marty, to show him riding around on his skateboard. Thomas Oscar Morrow also makes sense for Doc Brown, blowing things up with chemicals. I'm intrigued by your pick of Peter Parker for George McFly. Okay if you explained?

What about Robin for Marty? Maybe Cyborg for Griff Tannen?

Krypto as Einstein.

Hrmm..I wonder who could play the Libyans...
Needs to be a transporter with their VW bus...

You could also use Deathlok for Griff.
Jonah Hex could also be the Doc, he tended to dress the part.
Marty's Dad is Hourman. Starts out as a wimp, then gets mighty!

Peter for George because he's a nerd who knock's down bully's. And he'll get you some Perplex action.

That is a pretty good idea actually.

How many people do you want on this theme team. 3 -4 or 5-6 clix?

Now thinking theme wise and not dail wise I would say :

Lockjaw or other creature (Wendigo, sasquatch, tannaraq )could be used for Einstien.

McFlys - (his parents) Hawk and Dove, Starfire and Nightwing, Hawkeye and Mockingbird, Wasp and goliath or any other comic book husband and wife(those were all that I could think of).

Biff - Rhino, Scorpian or Kraven then spiderman as the father and maybe a different version of spiderman for the son. Goes with theme that Biff goes out of his way to make life hard for the Mcflys. find 2 clixs that hate each other. Look at some of the archenemis but dont use the archenemy versions.

Marty - Either pick a marty then pick a person who in comics hates him. Or pick a Biff then find a clix who hates him. For some reason Trickster comes to mind as a marty as his sculpt is running and the first thing that comes to mind when I think of marty is him on the skateboard running from Biff.

I thought of this as I was about to finish this post it would be a dual theme to most people at a glance it looks like a batman themed team but then you tell them it a Back to the Future theme team and watch thier eye light up as they figure out who is who.

Joker, Scarecrow or Bane as Biff
Huntress, Catwoman,Talia or Spoiler as Mother Mcfly
Batman or Azreal as Father Mcfly
Azreal ,Robin or Nightwing as Marty

Other theme peices
Lex luthor as the Principal
Thomas Oscar Morrow, Doc Octopus as Doc Brown
Blade or Mr Terrific as the black guy at the Soda Fountain the runs for mayor.
Thugs or other generics as biffs gang(hint hint paramedic or con artist)

Another would be to use Teen Titans peices

Soda jerk/future mayor - Cyborg
Mr and Mrs Mcfly - Nightwing and starfire or Arsenal and Cheshire(I think they had a child together), Hawk and Dove
Biff -Deathstroke, Hawk or Green Lantern(the CD one with Titans TA has the same haircut as Biff)
Marty - Beast Boy



Going with the clix named in previous posts ... if you use impluse as marty then use a cheap quicksilver as the father or another peice with speed (like father like son).

I'm thinking that the team would have 5-6 clix.

Regarding your idea of dual themes, it is certainly an interesting idea. I think, though, that I might just go with a group of characters who, either because of powers or comic book elements, are like those from Back to the Future. Quicksilver, for example, could work as Marty, because it's him while moving around on a skateboard. Mad Thinker would work as Doc Brown because his perplex, prob control, and outwit would work with Doc's genius.

I still like your idea of a dual theme team. It's just that I'm thinking of a mixed group similar to the characters of Back to the Future.
