1) Who do I attach the feat to (for the sake of counting KO points)? The borrower or the lender? Or, does it mean it's 10 pts for each borrower AND lender?
2) Wasn't there a TA comatibility prereq somewhere? Or am I thinking of a different card?
Choose two characters: The first character must have a point value at least twice that of the second character. The two characters must be adjacent in order to use this feat. Neither character may carry the other.
(Optional) The second character uses the first character’s defense value instead of its own when it is attacked by an opposing character.
1.) I wouild argue that it is split evenly. I can also see assigning it to the higher point fig.

It is assigned to both characters, but you only pay the cost once (note it does not say "10 points per character" like, say, Thunderbolts). If your opponent wants those 10 points, he must KO both characters; no splitting 5 and 5. From the Danger Room rule book (page 54):
Feats assigned to multiple characters. If a feat requires you to choose two or more characters, remove the feat from the game when the last character to which it is assigned is defeated and award victory points for the feat in the same way that victory points were awarded for the last assigned character defeated.

There are several feats that do have team ability or team symbol requirements. Sidekick is not one of them, though.

Just to be sure...
When it says "neither may carry the other" Does it mean that the 2 characters can't carry one other throughout the game (i.e. as a side effect of the card) or does it mean that they cannot be characters that have the POSSIBILITY of carrying another character? As in flyer, transporter, passenger feat...

Thx
It means that they may not carry each other, simple as that. One of the more common Sidekick assignments is to give it to KC Flash and Lockjaw, for instance...
