Alright this is problably not a good question.
I've played the game for a few years now and i have never ever used a character with the Power Cosmic (although i own them)

Let's say my Silver Surfer (200 chrome one) has zero action tokens on him, I move him up to 12 spaces and end that aciton. Then in that same turn, with the Power Cosmic Ability Attack thus giving him two action tokens for two different actions in the same turn.

Can I do that?

Someone told me this and i wasn't sure because i never heard it before

Does that only work with the "Big G" or does my friend have no clue what he is talking about?

you can move his full movement. Then in your next turn attack thus giving you another token and no pushing damage due to his team ability

If you make the (ranged) action during your turn no. However if you wait till the next turn then yes you can make a ranged attack. Only one action can be assigned to character per turn, heh so Power Cosmic is more like Will power and semi Fortitude. Hope that helps.

I believe your friend is confusing the Cosmic Multi-attack (an ability that only Galactus posseses) and the Power Cosmic Team ability.

The Cosmic Multi-attack is a Power action that gives Galactus 3 free actions that can be used for Move, Power, or Attack Actions.

The Power Cosmic TA 1) prevents the character's powers from being countered (Outwitted) and 2) the character does not take damage from pushing (similar in effect to Willpower).

And, as always, a figure cannot be given more than 1 non-Free Action in a single turn.
